WHAT WE DO:
We produce Tribute shows for theaters, casinos, cruises, festivals, and private events
Welcome to the Six Knight Media Group
LEGAL TRIBUTE SHOWS:
You have the proper performance licenses.
You clearly market it as a tribute act, not an official show of the artist.
You avoid using their trademarks, images, or branding without permission.
HOW MUCH CAN WE MAKE ON AVERAGE PER SHOW:
Tribute bands are a lucrative business because they tap into the massive demand for live music experiences while eliminating the risks of original artist availability and high booking fees. Audiences are eager to relive the music of their favorite stars at affordable ticket prices, creating a strong, built-in fan base for tribute shows. Venues such as casinos, theaters, cruises, and festivals book tributes consistently because they deliver reliable ticket sales and repeat attendance. With lower licensing costs, scalable production options, and universal appeal across demographics, Tribute bands combine high profit potential with long-term sustainability in the live entertainment market.
💰 Average Earnings Per Show
Small to Mid-Level Tribute Acts:
Typically, these acts earn between $500 and $2,500 per show.
This range is common for performances at local venues or private events. (Barmitzvahs. Batmitzvahs,) (NOT US)
Large Production Tribute Acts: $5,000 to $20,000 per show, when performing at theaters, casinos, festivals, or corporate events.
WHAT IS A TRIBUTE SHOW:
A tribute show is a live performance designed to honor and emulate the music, style, and stage presence of a well-known artist or band. Essentially, it’s a way for fans to experience the songs and performances of their favorite acts, often when seeing the original artist live is impossible.
Here are the key elements:
🎵 Key Features of a Tribute Show
Music Performance
Plays the original artist’s hits, often very closely mimicking the arrangements and style.
Can include full bands, solo acts, or orchestras depending on the tribute.
Visual & Stage Elements
Costumes, stage setups, and choreography that reflect the original artist.
Some shows go so far as to replicate iconic tours or music videos.
Audience Experience
Fans enjoy a live show with the feel of seeing the original artist.
Some shows include storytelling, video projections, or fan interactions.
Legal & Licensing
Tribute acts usually play cover versions of songs, which can be legally performed under venue licensing (like ASCAP, BMI, or SESAC).
Selling recordings of the tribute performance can be more complicated legally. (We don't need to do this)
